Logo design is dependent on target audiences not everyone likes the same kinds of things. So every one needs to be custom tailored to fit the needs of the product and the age group being targeted. The logos here are for several different age groups in order to offer challenges to my own style.
This logo was designed for a tween girl novel series. Taking place at a summer camp on the lake, the compact used for the o in mirror is found by the main character. On her first encounter with the unique object she is transported not in space but back in time to when the summer camp first opened in the early 70's.
This logo was designed for adult males 18-25. The product here was a body deodorant, and the premise was that an artist can't always choose the product they are given. A body deodorant with a name like Dragon's Breath doesn't exactly sound like the best aroma. For this one in envisioned a commercial of a human knight in an opposing brand's armor closes his help as he arrives to save the princess from the dragon. Only to find the beautiful princess has fallen for the dragon. Then the dragon exhales flames over the knight and rather than roasting him alive his armor falls away to reveal the knight has been transformed into a dragon. Ending with a title screen of Dragon's Breath, find your own princess. with an image of body spray and dry deodorant.
This logo was designed for the elite business woman in her 30-40's. The product here is beauty supplies from make up to jewelry and everything in between. When researching for this logo I wanted a simple elegant feel for the woman with refined tastes. I looked for a very simple style i liked and modified it a little to add a little more symmetry to the typeface. With the typical symbol for Aphrodite contained within the o it lends itself for multiple uses. A possible tag for this line would be, "Aphrodite, feel like a goddess."
This logo was designed for elderly gentleman in their 60-70's. The logo underwent revision and the large shield was something that conveys strength as does the american flag motif. The stars were the ideal place to put the large bold black letters and the thick typeface for life insurance fit best at this size I also wanted to connect it to the primary letters and since I forewent the full title in this logo.
Photography to me means as well as capturing light and shadow, that being said it is my philosophy that you should always try to capture fantasy in the realm of reality with my photos.
An afternoon day in Arizona typically is full of sunshine and bright skies. This day however was mostly cloudy and with the sun peaking through the clouds as night draws near not quite the sunset hour ut not the peak of the day either. The clouds almost form their own landscape where rays of light dance upon the dark clouds. Where a whole cloud city can bask above the ground and enjoy the warm glow of the day. Where birds and all manner of flying creatures can float and speed through.
Trees have branches and we go on every day passing them by. Walking around an area I was familiar with I saw the potential for this image and beautiful blue gradient the sky was producing at the time wasn't a Photoshop trick it was what was captured in the digital image.
I've been trying to capture this kind of an image better and better with this one spot near to my residence. The bright golden tones of the sunset here really make me enjoy it even more. The reflection is key, and though it's not a pristine perfect mirror edge It can still make the light rebound and enhance the feel of the image.
Animals are amazing and furries are just an extension of animals. Furries are a unique combination of humans and animals, as such I feel this is the best place to draw on my love of animals and furries.
This image was designed for being put onto my new bag. The zebra seen here is the basis for my logo and is my own personal fursona. He has come to be called Jack. The rabbit on his chest is a representation of "El-Ahrairah" inspired by both the book and movie Watership Down. I chose this imagery because I feel a good artist must have many similar qualities of the "Prince with a thousand enemies."
Predators are usually large and overbearing I chose a tiger to represent this word as they are one of the more amazing large predators. Prey are usually small and helpless I chose a rabbit to represent this as they are one of the more beloved small prey animals. While opposites they are together here to showcase those differences. When looking at Predator start at the left and slowly move to the left focus on each letter, P, r, e, d, a, t, o, r. Do the same for Prey and you should see them come out of the overall image.
Here we see a a bright vivid yellow lion with a dark purple background and slightly purple shading. I didn't want to adhere to perfect color theory with this idea as it was meant to be viewed in a group and I feel together they make wonderful symmetry.
Orange and blue variation of the same lion. I enjoy seeing what the different hues do to the singular image.
This one holds closest to true color theory and what should be done with it. It is possible that is why it might be the most pleasing to look at of the three. Yet I still enjoyed doing the set.
Here we have a set my characters from left to right My Zebra Jack, A green dragon with a lot of courage named James Stormrider, a loyal black dragon named Demitri V, and a small tiger with a very big fire inside by the name Byron Rivers.
Here we have the other set of friends from left to right. An unnamed mouse female showing off that not all anthros need to be the same size as their base animal. The large pure white tigress is a bit above average in size for her species though she still manages to be quite mechanically inclined her name is Kim Ratchet. The female canine of the husky breed is one of the more shy girls of the group but she does like a certain black dragon her name is Sasha Price. The confident red dragon at the end is the princess of the kingdom and a bit of a rebel is Fiona Flamestroker.
This page is going to be used to showcase projects done for any number of reasons that I particularly enjoy or was proud of.
This image was designed to be a Shirt for the Japanese Friendship Garden in Phoenix, AZ. I took my own idea of showcasing a Koi-fish pond with a yin yang symbol. Including two bonsai trees I felt would display the garden element. The five colors were, White, Blue, Red-Orange, Orange, and Yellow Orange. The Japanese characters are the same ones used at the location. I do not offer prints of this image.
Mountains in the background, clouds covering the sky, the sun almost half gone as it sends the last few rays of light back over the green valley. Night is falling and it's almost there the sun is shining it's last glimmers of hope before the dawn.
At the beginning of my last semester one of the first projects was a self portrait. Now the image I originally used was a side view of my face but I felt as though I had done enough Portaits of myself throughout my art career despite not displaying many of them where I had just followed convention and copied my face I wanted to make something unique so like the wolf on the shirt I was wearing that day I decided to give myself the face of a wolf.
Another project that managed to make it into the student show. The idea was to make an image for a specific article about a hermit in the woodlands of main. The single boot print was for giving it a human presence with a lonely feel. The colors on the leaves came out so wonderful in the print.
Gotta catch them all, I really enjoy pokemon and I am a big fan of the classic one hundred and fifty. Before things got strange and we got a lot of unnecessary strange pocket monsters no one was entirely certain about. The images here will focus around the first one hundred and fifty, and perhaps ones I like from gold and silver.
Venosaur, the third pokemon on the list of one hundred and fifty. The patterns here were chosen to replicate parts of nature and flowers. The claws and eyes were comprised of other unique pattern types. Of the grass pokemon in the first one hundred and fifty It was really the best designed from it's early evolutions right up to the this one.
Blastoise, the water jet turtle pokemon. The strong sturdy shell of this pokemon protects it from a large amounts of damage. The jets on the back can be used to apply massive force to tackles. The lion pattern used for major parts of the shell and blue flesh pattern were chosen to give a contrast to the patterns selected for the shell, claws, and eyes.
Pideot, the swift bird pokemon. Pidgeot are revered for their superb hunting prowess as well as their wonderfully beautiful feathers. Two separate feather patterns make up the wings, and the tail and head plumage. Able to reach speeds of Mach-2 this pokemon makes a faithful aviary companion and one that is always worth giving the move Fly to.
Onix, the rock snake pokemon. For this set of pattern selection I wanted to change up the usual look for the rock snake with a set of gems to break up the coarse gravely tones usually scene with them. With only a few gems it doesn't completely detract from the overall feel or look of the impressive rock snake. Not all patterns here were just stone but they provide a good sense of unity for Onix.
For now the robots here are presently inspired by the game "The Desolate Hope." I wanted to re-imagine the derelicts for combat on a more direct scene for a school project that included the pokemon on the other part of my site. To take them back to before they fell to disrepair with a different color scheme. It is my intention to include more images here.
Here we see the simplest of the derelicts Alphus who was designed with simple geometry and set the task of looking into environmental domes as a possible survival option. My design took out many of the screens on his chest and allowed for both arms to be functional and changeable I chose their current positions based on my needs for the final image.
Bio-Beta was designed to run simulations based on several genetic samples thus it's research was focused around creating life forms based on the samples though it had trouble generating consciousness in it's simulations possibly the result of a missing sample. Here the cables that run rampant over his body and fuse fire and ice.
Malenz was created to run simulations like the others though all of his had to be based in reality and focused on very specific rules and regulations he started with a simple mining colony. Here we see all of his legs working on something much more sinister while he is charging he might be understandable but if that finishes and he sends it out that will make most of the others attacks look a little less imposing. He took me the most time and was the most complex of these.
Mirad was the robot who's focus was upon how humans might populate another world. Her own simulations started simple but as time wore on like the others she grew despondent over her failures. Starting to focus on other things as receiving the same results for the primary objectives set to her was becoming uninteresting. Here we see her arms long and reaching her hover platform keeping her off the ground.
If it wasn't already evident I'm a fan of Scott Cawthon I made a tri fold of posters designed to hang next to each other to "Celebrate" the grand opening on the original Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Showing off the three main animatronics and offering some bonuses to those who would come in during that grand opening week. I wanted the animatronics to feel brand new so no ones spilled soda on these yet nor has the Golden Freddy killer been through the establishment yet.
Here we have our velvet voiced bear happy to be preforming for the kids. I wanted the company motto on this poster along with an open date. Now the games never give us a specific open date, but I will say making a relative guess from just info obtained in just the first game for the year, and the date is also supposed to be key to the first game if you know what you're looking for. Play the games to find out where and what. Again these three were meant to be viewed side by side.
Now I know what you're thinking why didn't you make a poster for Foxy. But Chica is the other character on stage and I feel that Fazbear Entertainment would want that first unveil of Foxy to be a big surprise. So here Chica is with her signature cupcake and bib.
